1. Who is responsible for your data

YuRa Trading is operated by an individual sole trader based in the United Kingdom, who is the data controller for the personal data described on this page.

For any privacy question, or to exercise any of the rights in section 7, use the contact form. Please say clearly what you are asking for so it can be dealt with properly.

2. The short version

This site is free, sells nothing, and has no advertising. There is no account system and no tracking across other websites. Three things collect data: an optional analytics cookie, the email waitlist, and the contact form. Nothing is sold or shared for marketing.

3. Analytics (optional, off by default)

With your consent, this site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are useful. Nothing is loaded and no analytics cookie is set unless you press “Accept” on the cookie banner. If you refuse, or simply ignore the banner, no request is made to Google at all.

When enabled, it records:

• pages viewed, time on page, and the link or search that brought you here;
• approximate location (country and city level) derived from your IP address, which is truncated before storage;
• device type, browser, and screen size;
• an event when someone joins the email list, recording only that it happened and on which page — never the email address itself.

Cookies used: _ga and _ga_<id>, which expire after two years or when you clear them. Google acts as a processor and the data is held on servers in the United States. Lawful basis: consent, which you can withdraw at any time below or by clearing your cookies.

4. Cookies this site sets itself

Two small cookies are strictly necessary for the site to work as you asked it to, so they are set without consent, as PECR permits:

• yura-consent — remembers whether you accepted or refused analytics, so you are not asked on every page. Expires after six months, at which point you will be asked again.
• yura-theme — remembers whether you chose the light or dark colour scheme. Set only when you use the theme toggle.

Neither identifies you, and neither is shared with anyone.

5. The email waitlist

If you submit your email address, the following is recorded in a private Google Sheet: your email address, the date and time you submitted it, and your IP address. The IP address is kept to detect and block automated abuse of the form.

It is used for one purpose: to email you when a new strategy result, tool, or piece of research is published. It is not sold, rented, or shared with anyone, and it is not used for advertising.

Lawful basis: consent for the email address, and legitimate interests for the IP address (preventing abuse of a public form). You can ask for removal at any time through the contact form and the row will be deleted.

6. The contact form

Submitting the contact form records your name, email address, message, the time of submission, and your IP address. This exists so that your message can be read and answered, and so the form can be protected from automated abuse.

Lawful basis: legitimate interests — responding to someone who has deliberately got in touch. Messages are kept while the matter is open and for a reasonable period afterwards, then deleted.

7. Your rights

Under the UK GDPR you have the right to:

• ask what personal data is held about you, and get a copy;
• have inaccurate data corrected;
• have your data erased;
• restrict or object to how it is used;
• receive your data in a portable format;
• withdraw consent at any time, without affecting what came before.

Requests are free and will be answered within one month. Use the contact form.

If you are unhappy with the response, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

8. Others who process data on this site's behalf

• Vercel — hosting. Server logs, which include IP addresses, are generated automatically and retained briefly for security and reliability.
• Google — Analytics (only with consent) and Google Sheets, where waitlist and contact submissions are stored.
• YouTube — the home page embeds a YouTube video. When that page loads, YouTube may set its own cookies, independently of the choice you make on the cookie banner. To avoid this entirely, block third-party cookies in your browser or avoid the home page. This is disclosed here rather than hidden; it is on the list to be replaced with a click-to-load embed.

Google and Vercel both process data in the United States under the UK International Data Transfer Addendum and Standard Contractual Clauses.

9. What this site does not do

• No advertising networks, retargeting pixels, or data brokers.
• No selling or renting of personal data, ever.
• No automated decision-making or profiling with legal effects.
• No accounts, so no passwords or payment details are held.
• No tracking of you across other websites.

10. Children

This site concerns financial markets and is not intended for anyone under 18. Personal data is not knowingly collected from children. If you believe a child has submitted their details, get in touch and they will be deleted.

11. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated as the site changes. The date at the top always reflects the current version, and material changes will be noted on the site rather than made quietly.
